ETT or Elementary Teacher Training is a diploma certificate course. ETT course duration is 2 years. Students who have completed their 10+2 in any of the streams can apply for the ETT course. Students who are interested in teaching can apply for the ETT course.

ETT course trains the students on being a professional teacher in primary school. ETT course is the most basic course available for students interested in teaching. ETT course provides an insight into the necessity of teaching, its importance and ways of improvising teaching.

Minimum eligibility is to have minimum marks in intermediate. There are many schools and educational institutions which take in ETT graduates for the posts of tutor, primary school teacher, daycare teacher, etc. ETT graduates have the option of continuing their education further through B.Ed.
